My dear reader, if you landed here and decided to read the content of this site, it means you want to refocus on your ability to imagine and invent and apply this skill within your activity – your business – and possibly in your everyday life.
If this is the case, you made a smart decision: there are a few books out there dedicated to Imagination with a concrete and pragmatic approach on how to stimulate it, empower it, grow it, and possibly have it back if you remember a time in your life where you lived with Imagination on a daily basis.
We live in a society full of conformism, where thinking differently is allowed to just a few of us and neglected to the multitude.
What I state here is that I promise you I’ve done all I could to design a path for you to (re)activate and expand the skill of Imagination, and possibly train it and apply it as a habit, the same way you breath without being aware.
Before starting this journey, you must know that there are some risks you need to accept.
Imagination is the basis of creativity: we all imagine first – which is a thought experiment – and then we design and plan concrete actions to translate our Imagination into reality, which is the natural complimentary step.
Which are the risks?
As most people are neither capable of Imagination nor of putting it into practice, you will become part of a minority which most of the times is not understood by most of the people. This “other” people will do their best to sabotage your ability to imagine and this will bring you a sense of loneliness and frustration towards which – again – you will have to fight back with even more Imagination.
If you accept these risks, be also aware that the reward Imagination may provide, that thrilling sense of having seen something among the first while most of the “others” can’t see it, will compensate whatever challenges you’ll have to face with in your life by many and many times.
I promise you what you will learn here is worth the effort.
